General Requirements

You must be

-18 years or older on election day

-An American Citizen

-Registered to vote

-Able to provide valid photo ID (check what is accepted here)

Am I registered to vote already?

If you want to check where you're registered, or if you're registered at all, there are plenty of places to do that online. myvote.wi.gov is a great place to start!

I've been convicted of a felony at one point.

Restore Your Vote is a website that can help you figure this out. They ask a few quick questions and give you an answer immediately.

I do not want my address to be listed for safety reasons.

Here is a link to Safe at Home. This program allows you to redact that information from public records to keep your address secure. 

I don't have an accepted form of ID.

You can find out how to get a Wisconsin ID here. You can also get a free ID specifically for voting. Find out how to do that here

I do not have permanent or reliable housing at the moment.

Wisconsin Elections Commissions has information on the specifics of voting without a permanent address.
